Slowly creeping forward
THE REVIVAL/KEEP ON KEEPIN' ON from morehartfilms on Vimeo.
Silly rabbit... tricks are for kids...
Melbourne premiere coming... soon. I'll need help.
That old fashioned style

Cranky Sundays and Sugar Spokes would like to present:
The Bike Mixer
The idea is simple... taking a cue from the sockhops and 'mixers' of the 50s where young ladies and gentlemen were introduced in an informal situation we thought it'd be great for the two rides to get together and actually meet one another properly (rather than the sideways glances across the room etc).
The basics of the plan are for the two rides to meet up at an agreed location for a bbq/picnic. We go for a variation of our normal sunday ride, we meet the ladies who will do their own ride there. We have an old-fashioned good time...
It'll give both rides a bit of a social crossover and it'll give a few of the crankys boys who have 'better halves' a chance to encourage them to come out. It's unfortunate they know us, but maybe they'll meet some other ladies who like to ride?
I'm chaperoning so be on your best behavior ;)
The date is Sunday 1st November [original date now confirmed again]
Location will be suitable for all parties - and will suit picking up ladyfriends/wives if they dont join us for the main ride.
Shine your shoes and slick your hair...

if you've been before you have a little taste, if you havent, top up your gear inches or line up a borrowed ride and come smash it in the easiest way outside putting training wheels on your dura-aces.
prizes from cycle underground, rays bike shop, brunswick CC and a few others... bragging rights free with entry.

i'll be getting off a plane shortly before it starts [heading straight there], so can someone lead the ride up to the pub?

Looking Sharp...
I don't know about you guys, but I miss last Sunday.
Thanks to everyone from Crankys who lent a hand, raced, watched, whatever. It's a damn shame that the Cranky team of Benzy, Ben and Trig-star didn't place third as they should have. Next time we'll give you lanyards for the manifestos. But I guess second place with Nik, Pip & Cale was kind of a Cranky team, amirite?
Here's a few shots from Fix Up, and once I've found an online home for it, I'll link youse up to the full album.
